Risk X is a specialist cybersecurity consulting services provider based in Cape Town, South Africa, with personnel operating remotely across South Africa. The company was founded in 2016 as a provider of PCI DSS compliance services to the payment card industry. Since then, Risk X has expanded its service offering into the assurance and audit & advisory market, incorporating penetration testing, digital forensics, ISO27001 implementation, POPIA assessments, and SOC 2 audits into the company’s catalogue of services. Risk X is a Level 2 BB-BEE contributor and is CREST and ISO27001:2022 accredited.
